.... for so many good friends at church, all asking how I was and, even more touching, was the number that were offering practical help if/when I need it.  A two of them even going as far as to say to ring them anytime even in the middle of the night and they`d come (and they really meant it).

The sun shone, the snow had gone. My Mum came for the day and I was able to take her for a ride along the coast and sit by a sea wall watching a man feed the sea-gulls in the afternoon.
